Originally from Pennsylvania, Don Spiro is a versatile freelance photographer working in NY and LA. Having worked professionally in film and television since 1991, he is experienced in a wide range of formats and styles. Aside from fine art portraiture and the occasional pin up, he primarily documents the subcultures burlesque, sideshow and other urban demimonde characters that are his life. He has collaborated on programs, posters and portraits for events and performers from all over the world and his work has been shown in galleries, periodicals and other media from coast to coast.
