Doug Myers is a traditional photographer in the sense that he has yet to be seduced by the digital world. Instead he works with a large format 8x10 camera and processes his own film and prints. Doug works out of his studio in Downtown L.A. photographing miodels for his highly staged bondage scenes. He enjoys incorporating elements of the 40's and 50's including wardrobe and styling to further dramatize his images. Doug has created over a dozen images in this first series of work. Since 2003, his work has been exhibited in four galleries throughout L.A. His current projects include a short film about his bondage style of photography and a new series of images all to be on location and in color.
